A travelling graphic exhibition, from Rome to the main Italian towns. It will show the differences between Topography and Cartography, the ancient art of drawing the world.
The tour will show the public how geographic maps are produced. The exhibition is an occasion to get in touch with the technical and cultural development of the cartographic studies by De Agostini, so relevant in the Italian history of cartography, from 1901 to 2006.
Children learn that cartography is like telling the story of the world and at the same time dive deep in atmospheres, costumes, cultures of places and peoples that inhabit the earth.
In collaboration with De Agostini.
