The exhibition was designed by Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie – Paris - according to models bought at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Buildings have always been necessary to men. This exhibition shows basic structures, offering children the chance to learn the basics of several structures through game and manipulation. Children will also be able to consider stresses and deformations – visible and invisible – to which materials are subject, and they will be able to avoid breaks and collapses.
