What’s light for you?

A collection of ideas on light, realized by designers from 0 to 14 from all over the world, hosted by Explora from June 11th to September 26th 2010.
The exhibition was designed by Mario Nanni. It is a collection of ideas on light that also inspired a book including thoughts, ideas, works, projects and poems about light. Children’s works, like lamps, bulbs, poems, objects and pictures are thoughts, impressions, projects, stories and dreams. Light is a concept but it is also used as an emotional and narrative tool, to be experienced at Explora through a creative workshop on the topic. Light designer Mario Nanni started a few years ago several activities on light, through which we perceive the world. He worked with great architects, among whom Peter Zumthor, Michele De Lucchi, Claudio Silvestrin, and designers like Claudio La Viola, Joan Sibin, in order to describe light through his own experience.
