  • Which is the best age for nursery tours?;

‘Lil’ Explorers’ is the tour dedicated to babies and toddlers (0-3).
How many ‘Explorers’ can take part in the tour?Each ‘Lil’ explorers’ tour admits a maximum of 4 groups with a maximum of 15 visitors.
What will the explorers do?They will explore the Lil’ Explorers area and the permanent exhibits dedicated to our youngest visitors: games, scents, image matching, Visual-tactile stimulation.
Where can I change nappies?Explora’s toilets are provided with baby-changing units.
How do I book my visit?Call the school office at 06.203.98.878 or 06.36.13.776 (ext 3).
What is the best period to go to Explora?We strongly advise visits during less busy periods, from September to March and in June.
What happens if we are late?The scheduled time must be respected. In case of a late arrival your visit will finish at the planned time, you will not be admitted to the following tour.

  • Visits for playgroups/kindergartens

Which is the best age for thematic tours and ateliers?
The workshop ‘By Hands’ and the thematic tours are dedicated to children from 3 to 5. The workshop ‘Kitchen studio’ is open to children aged 5 and up.
How many children can take part in the activities for playgroups/kindergartens?
Two classes –25 children max. each – will be admitted for each thematic tour.A maximum of 15 children will be admitted for ‘By Hands’ and ‘Kitchen Studio’ workshops.
What will children do during their visit?A member of staff, who will follow the groups during the whole visit or workshop, will support each class.

When does the primary school workshop takes place and how long does it last?
It is run during the school visit and it lasts about 40 minutes. The ‘Kitchen Studio’ takes place in a detached building and it lasts one hour.
How many children will be admitted during the workshop?
One class – 25 children max. – will be admitted for each workshop.
‘Crafty hands’ and ‘Kitchen studio’ workshops admit 15 children per visit.
How do I book my visit?

What is the best period to go to Explora?
We strongly advise visits during less crowded periods, from September to March and in June.

How can I register?Fill in the form on our web-site.
Is the 15€ fee valid for every course?Yes, it is valid for all courses scheduled during the school year.
Will Explora provide an attendance certificate?You will receive an attendance certificate at the end of the course.
Universities grant their students credits for attending our courses. Credits are recognised at the discretion of Professors.

  • Is parking available at Explora?

Parking for coaches is located in Via Flaminia 86, it is free for school groups who visit us.

Explora is not located in the ZTL (limited traffic area).
