Shop and Bookshop are accessible from Explora’s Hall: three floor packed with educational and scientific toys, books especially for children, CDs and DVDs, stationery, gadgets and merchandising products to take home as a memory of your visit.

Much more than a shop: the space is also used to enrich Explora’s cultural offer. Through free activities, visitors can extend the time of their visit. I Libri Parlanti (Talking books) includes a series of animated readings and workshops inspired by book stories. Activities are realized in collaboration with prestigious publishers specialized in children literature and with authors and illustrators known by children.

The bookshop is also suitable for presentation of books with the authors. Explora has hosted presentation of books by popular writers like Margherita Hack, Umberto Guidoni and Moony Witcher. The area is also suitable for press conferences and photo/art exhibitions for children. In fact the Bookshop hosted the 1st Festival della Cultura Infantile Svedese with readings inspired by Nordkvist and Lindenbaum, and the exhibition I più bei libri della Slovacchia.
