Explora is growing and provides new space and new fun occasions to play and learn during your visit.
The renovation and opening of a new building is the first step of the premises enlargement. The building is in the outside area of the museum and is not connected to the pavilion: The Kitchen.
The new building is a customized kitchen for children, where they will engage in a fun and permanent workshop called Kitchen Studio, dedicated to food education and realized with the scientific support of Inran (National Institute of Research for Food and Nutrition).
When?
The Kitchen is open on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays during 10.45am and 3.45pm visit tours.
Access to the Kitchen Studio workshop is limited and booking is required. The activity lasts 50 minutes and is for children from 5 to 12 who wish to knead, roll out and bake delicious biscuits*.
Parents can either watch the activity through the wall glass of the kitchen, or take a walk in the outside area of Explora to have a look at the photographic exhibitions. The entrance to the kitchen is reserved to children with tickets. Tickets will be collected 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the workshop.
Admission:
- € 7 - children's workshop
- € 6 - children's admission to Explora during 12am and 5pm visit tours (when matched to the Kitchen Studio)
Kitchen Studio is also addressed to schools and b-day parties!
*in the summertime the children can make an ice-cream and eat it with biscuits.
