The Pavillion
A Children-size town
The pavilion resembles a small town, where children can touch and experience everything. Explora relates children to environment, communication, economy and new technologies that allow children to explore the mystery of things.
Tours at Explora are self-guided, children can choose on their own the area to play in, stop there as long as they like, and change the activity whenever they want to.
You’ll find the following symbols on our exhibits. They display the age suggested for each exhibit or game.
At Explora we don’t have a recommended tour: choose with your child.
The pavilion consists of two floors:
- ground floor: permanent exhibits that make our children-size town;
- first floor: temporary exhibitions, the temporary workshops area and Lil’ Explorers area for children under 3 , open from Tuesdays to Sunday:
• 10.00am (opening from 10.15am till 11.30am)
• 12.00am (opening from 12.15pm till 1.30pm)
• 3.00pm (opening from 3.15pm till 4.30pm)
• 5.00pm (opening from 5.15pm till 6.30pm)
Besides the visit, Explora offers workshops and activities on weekends, public holidays and special days: check the calendar!
