How can we outride the idea of worn-out waste and transform the unused material in something that can live again as a precious and useful object? The exhibit has been developed in collaboration with Ecopneus, the consortium for the identification, tracing, collection, treatment and final destination of worn-out tires (ELT). It allows the children to discover and understand why the special treatment of certain waste is The Second Life of ELT invites children, and their parents, teachers and friends, to retrace this path, through an active and participatory approach, having fun and looking closely at the steps and the transformations of the materials. Through this exhibit they can better understand the impact of our actions on the environment: in this way the exhibit supports the awareness of our environmental responsibility.
