Explora is a privately owned non-profit organization.
Visits last 1 hour and 45 minutes and are not guided.
Entry times are as follows: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – 03:00 pm – 05:00 pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
Children must be accompanied by one or more adults.
Adults must be accompanied by one or more children.
Children cannot be left unsupervised in the exhibit pavilion.
Accompanying adults are responsible for their children’s behaviour and for any damage caused to facilities.
Booking is required on weekends, during seasonal, bank and national holidays and it is recommended on business days. Booking will be kept up to 15 minutes before entry time.
Tickets, issued in accordance with the rules established by the museum, are valid only on the day and time for which they were purchased and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be available for inspection if required by any member of staff.
Please check your entry ticket at the time of purchase in case there are any errors and omissions.
In the exhibit pavilion it is not allowed:

  • to introduce animals
  • to eat
  • to smoke
For safety reasons and children protection, during the visit it is not allowed:

  • enter the museum again after leaving;
  • leave children unsupervised..
Please be advised that photographs and/or videos will be taken at the museum facilities.
If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organiser.

The pavilion cloakroom is unattended.
All unattended/lost objects found within the museum will be kept for 30 days.
Paid parking is available only to Explora visitors with entry tickets.
It is unattended and the museum cannot be held responsible for damage or theft.
Children must be supervised by their accompanying adults when playing in the garden.
The garden is at your disposal: respect it and leave it clean.
